Accelerated Education Enterprises (AEE) recently updated schools concerning Exit Qualifications Options at Grade 12.

There are now 4 NQF Level 4 options available:

1.    International ACE Qualification in partnership with Lighthouse Christian Academy in the USA.
    
Certificate:    USA registered Foreign Qualification NQF4
    
Tertiary Education:  

 

             *    Senate’s Discretionary Route.  Foreign Conditional Exemption (from USAf - Universities South Africa - Matriculation  Board) required.
            *    SAQA Certificate of Evaluation (Equivalence)
            *    Awaiting USAf confirmation

2    The General Education Diploma (GED)

​

Certificate:    GED (SAQA) NQF4 Foreign Qualification

Also suitable for students who do not wish to study further.

Tertiary Education:    *    Eligible for Higher Certificate in SA
            *    Foreign Conditional exemption (USAf) required for Bachelor studies
            *    USAf restriction for SA Graduates
            *    GED not recommended for students who want to do engineering or medicine.

3.    The National Senior Certificate (NSC) via the Independent Examination Board (IEB). (ONLINE)

Certificate:    UMALUSI NSC (through IEB) - full exemption

​

Tertiary Education:    *    Eligible for consideration at universities - dependent on space available and specific faculty entry requirements.
